Congregate Meal Program

Congregate Dining is a community-based meal service that is intended to increase opportunities for nutritional and social support among older adults. The program is open to older adults aged 55+ as well as disabled individuals.

A portion of the cooks’salaries are provided through grants from the Prairie Mountain Health. Participants pay a fee per meal to cover the cost of food and supplies. Current fees are $7.00 for meals eaten in the dining room, and $8.00 for takeout meals.

Participants are asked to sign up or cancel the day prior to the meal. A monthly menu is planned for each program, and copies are made available for pick-up at each location.

The Dauphin Multi-Purpose Senior Centre operates three congregate meal programs at the following locations:

All meals are served at 5 p.m.
